7. Deutsch-Arabisches Frauenforum | 4.–7. Oktober 2026 | Berlin
Das Deutsch-Arabische Frauenforum zählt zu den wichtigsten Veranstaltungen im Kalender der EMA und bildet den Abschluss des deutsch-arabischen Mentoringprogramms OUISSAL. Im Laufe der Jahre hat das Forum Hunderte Teilnehmerinnen sowie hochrangige Gäste aus Deutschland und der MENA-Region zusammengebracht und sich als bedeutende Plattform für Dialog, Austausch und die wirtschaftliche Stärkung von Frauen etabliert.
Vom 4. bis 7. Oktober 2026 bringt die EMA ihr einzigartiges deutsch-arabisches Frauennetzwerk erneut in Berlin zusammen. Das diesjährige Motto lautet: „Together We Lead, Together We Thrive“ Das Forum wird mit Unterstützung des Bundesministeriums für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ) und in Kooperation mit der Agentur für Wirtschaft und Entwicklung (AWE) durchgeführt. Es bringt Unternehmerinnen, Gründerinnen, Führungskräfte und engagierte Frauen aus Deutschland sowie zahlreichen Ländern der MENA-Region zusammen, darunter Marokko, Algerien, Tunesien, Libyen, Ägypten, Jordanien, Libanon und Palästina.

Rund 45 Teilnehmerinnen des aktuellen OUISSAL-Jahrgangs 2025/2026 werden nach Berlin reisen, um Erfahrungen auszutauschen, ihre Netzwerke zu stärken und ihre unternehmerischen Projekte vorzustellen. Den Abschluss des Forums bildet ein Netzwerkempfang mit rund 100 Gästen aus Politik, Wirtschaft, Wissenschaft und Zivilgesellschaft.
In diesem Jahr ist das Deutsch-Arabische Frauenforum mit dem Bundesgleichstellungstag der Bundesstiftung Gleichstellung verbunden. Diese Kooperation bietet die Gelegenheit, die OUISSAL-Teilnehmerinnen und ihr unternehmerisches Engagement einem breiteren Publikum aus Politik, Wirtschaft und Zivilgesellschaft vorzustellen.
Im Rahmen des Programms findet am 6. Oktober 2026 ein OUISSAL Showcase statt. In einer Podiumsdiskussion präsentieren OUISSAL-Teilnehmerinnen ihre Erfahrungen und Geschäftsideen. Das Forum bietet eine lebendige interkulturelle Plattform, um wertvolle Kontakte zu knüpfen, unterschiedliche Perspektiven auszutauschen und die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Deutschland und der MENA-Region weiter zu stärken

The German-Arab Women’s Forum is one of the key events in the EMA calendar and marks the conclusion of the German-Arab mentoring programme OUISSAL. Over the years, the Forum has welcomed hundreds of participants and distinguished guests from Germany and the MENA region, establishing itself as an important platform for dialogue, exchange and women’s economic empowerment.
From 4 to 7 October 2026, EMA will once again bring together its unique German-Arab women’s network in Berlin under the motto: “Together We Lead, Together We Thrive” The Forum is organised with the support of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and in cooperation with Agency for Business and Economic Development (AWE). It brings together women entrepreneurs, founders, executives and leaders from Germany and countries across the MENA region, including Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Palestine.

Around 45 participants from the current OUISSAL 2025/2026 cohort will travel to Berlin to exchange experiences, strengthen their networks and present their entrepreneurial projects. The Forum will conclude with a networking reception attended by approximately 100 guests from politics, business, academia and civil society.  This year, the German-Arab Women’s Forum is linked to the Federal Gender Equality Day, organised by the Federal Foundation for Gender Equality. This cooperation provides an opportunity to introduce the OUISSAL participants and their entrepreneurial engagement to a wider audience from politics, business and civil society.
As part of the programme, an OUISSAL Showcase will take place at on 6 October 2026, where OUISSAL participants will present their experiences and business ideas in a dedicated panel discussion. The Forum offers a vibrant intercultural platform for building valuable connections, exchanging perspectives and strengthening cooperation between Germany and the MENA region.
